It’s been a hot minute since I’ve shared with you a few of my faves, but I’ve been showing some major love to these staples this summer, so I thought you might too! This is, by far, one of my favorite “What I’m Loving” posts, because truly y’all, I use these items weekly, if not every day. It’s no secret that fashion, makeup, pampering, and organization are my big time jams, so alas…
- ONE TEASPOON BANDITS SHORTS: Every girl needs a good pair of ole’ faithful, distressed denim in her Summer staples, right? These were a bit more of a normal investment than I normally spend on a pair of shorts, but Y’ALL, they are my absolute “go-to” pair. Having a funky day? Throw them on with a graphic tee and some flannel and call it a day. Feeling jazzy? Throw them on with a dressier top and some wedges and hit lunch with your gal pals. They have a cozy boyfriend fit, so they truly are a staple for my Summer casuals. If you’re looking for a good pair of distressed denim shorts, these are your babies. I snagged mine from Abercrombie online, but you can also find them on Nasty Gal and Free People‘s websites.
- ASHLEY SIEVERT MAKEUP: When it comes to makeup, especially foundation, I’m ultra picky. After hearing constant raves about Ashley’s line from multiple friends whose suggestions I trust, I had to try it for myself. GUYSSSSS, it’s the bees knees. Foundation, powder, glow under eye brightener, and her signature brushes–all worth every penny. It spreads flawlessly and STAYS ON. If you wanna try it out before making a commitment, you can try out a nifty little sample pack, here. You’re welcome. (: Not only do I love her products, but I adore her, as well. I met Ashley several years ago at a photography workshop, and have watched her passion blossom so beautifully over the past few years. She’s a New Orleans native makeup artist, momma, and a talent for constructing all things pretty. If you want a little daily dose of inspiration, follow her (@ashleysievertbeauty and @ashleysievert) on Insta!
- WHITNEY ENGLISH DAY DESIGNER: Guys. Guyssssss. This one is the wham-bam-thank-you-mam. I’m a little obsessed with planning and always have my eyes peeled for stylish and functional planners. I ran into this little pretty at Target yesterday and instantly loved it for its similar design to these Whitney English and Kate Spade planners I’ve been eyeing for months. I loved the look of both of the aforementioned, but neither of them fit the exact functionality I like from my planners. I like a week view all laid out horizontally, so that I can see on one layout my schedule for the entire week. After trying out several different ones over the past few years, I usually end up buying a Plain Jane, yet functional drab grey one from Target because it gets the job done. Well…LITTLE DID I KNOW when I snagged this pretty for $14.99 at Target yesterday that it IS in fact created by Whitney English exclusively for Target Stores. YALL…this is pretty huge. Whitney’s planners normally sell for $54 and sell out consistently on her website, so finding her line for Target is a huge win. If you’re wanting one of these pretties, I suggest scooting over to your local Target ASAP. I’m sure they won’t last long and from past experience with other brands of pretty planners at Target, once they’re gone, they’re gone.
- BLOKE BODY SCRUB: All natural, vegan friendly body scrub made with coconut oil, sugar, sea salt, black tea, cinnamon, vanilla, and cardamom. Need I even say more? This has been one of my favorite gifts to give my gal pals this year and I use it weekly on myself for smooth, hydrated, and healthy skin. If you’re looking to pamper the ladies in your life, or just yourself, check check, check it. I purchase mine locally, here. But if you’re not local, Bloke sells it on their website, along with various other body-lovin’ items.
Happy Summer, my pretties!
