“Your little hands wrapped around my finger, and it’s so quiet in the world tonight. Your little eyelids flutter cause you’re dreaming, so I tuck you in and turn on your favorite nightlight. To you, everything’s funny, you’ve got nothing to regret. I’d give all I have honey, if you could stay like that.
Oh, darlin’ don’t you ever grow up, don’t you ever grow up, just stay this little…”
Every single time I’m editing the big belly-laughing giggles of my littles, the words from T. Swift’s song cannot help but to flood my mind. I don’t have children yet, but the thought of wanting to protect a precious little life of my own, well, that seems like a heart chalked full of love…and fear. Big fear.
But to see the unscathed, childlike innocence through my lens, my goodness, does it fill my whole heart.
Sweet Sawyer was so incredibly full of love, intrigue, and all the laughs.
Erin and Jesse, thank you, thank you for allowing me to document the big giggles and bigger heart of your sweet family.
